looking for Margaret Gahagan

I am looking for any information on my GG Grandmother, Margaret Gahagan. Margaret was born 1842/1843 in Ireland. We think it was County Cork, but could be wrong. All we know of her parents is their names: J.H. Gahagan and Bridget Foley. Margaret emigrated to the US in 1860. She met my GG Grandfather, Dennis J Reardon on the passage and they were married that same year in Bath, ME.

You posted this quite a while ago. I am wondering if you have found anything further about J H Gahagan and Bridget Foley. I believe your Margaret is the sister of Patrick Gahagan who is in a tree I am researching in Lewiston Maine. Please let me know, I'm doing this research for our parish priest and I'm stuck on this side. I have lots of descendant information
