Dear Family –
At this writing I am asking you to not utilize Terry Flynn Tours to book your trip. I truly apologize for the inconvenience and am very disappointed that we are not receiving the attention to our family I thought we would have. Here are places you can book to stay for your trip – the average per night is about 53 Euro. Remember you need to book your air and vehicle too.
September 17-19 (departing 19th for Athlone) (arrive when you desire)
Dublin: Harding Hotel (www.hardinghotel.ie) – this is in the Temple District right down town
September 20-22 (depart Galway afternoon 22nd)
Castletown Geoghegan: Greenhills B&B (www.irishbeds.com and select Westmeath County)
Cousin Joe has bus transportation to tour our land in Athlone/Tullamore, etc. so this part of the trip is confirmed - there will be a minimal charge for the bus, with lunch stop. I will work with Cousin Eddie to book reunion dinner location.

As I do not know how many of you will be touring from Galway to Connemara as a group – I suggest we meet and car pool. I will check with Joe about a bus, but for now plan on driving as a group to visit our castle and Kylemore Abbey, back to Galway.
I will work with Cousin Joe to secure a place to have our family dinner in Galway.

Book your visit to Aran Islands (www.aranislandferries.com) – on the booking site there is a place below the date where you can sign up for a bus transfer from Galway to Ros a’ Mhil (where the ferry is). We can car pool to the site in Galway.

(From Christine in Ireland) - Inis Mór is the largest island of all three which has the most amenities, and there is a lot to do there. Inis Meain which is very quiet and tranquil, and Inis Oirr is beautiful too.
All our ferries leave from Rossaveal port which is approximately a 1 hour drive from Galway City. This will take you along the coastal road via Barna, Spiddal and parts of Connemara which is exceptionally beautiful.
We have a shuttle bus service from Galway City which leaves from Queens Street beside Merchant’s road and takes you straight to the port in Rossaveal out to the island. From here to the island on Inis Mór, the ride is 40 minutes on our express ferry boats. Or you can drive to Rossaveal and park your car in the car park where you can pay a small fee of €5 per day; this is a secure cark park which has CTV cameras
On our internet site we have timetables explaining ferry times to the island, they are: Going to Inis Mor: 10.30am - From Inis Mór: 5.00pm Fares: The price for the ferry is €25 per adult return and €7pp for the shuttle bus return, a student fare is €20 return and €6 return for the shuttle bus
One can book tickets on the internet with 10 % discount, in our offices in Galway City all three offices located near Eyre Square or by phone.
